of fate, Natalia and Alexander Bagdassarov were born in one and the day and the
hour. The God has equally given twins one talent and has predestined their
future. Both have started occupations by the music with four years, both has
studied at the Central Music School for Gifted Children at the Moscow
Conservatory, both has ended this Conservatory in a class the professors of
Lion Naumov (Alexander) and professors Michael Voskresenky (Natalia) and both
were invited to work in the Moscow state Philharmonic in quality of duet a
piano.
First
success of the Natalia and Alexander was marked in the young years when at the
best execution of the musical work for two pianos they have received diplomas
of winners on internal competition.
Among
prizes one may indicate the following:
winners of the International competition of duets of the Piano in Munich where
they have received the supreme award of competition and became the first
pianists of Russia in this genre; winners of the International Festival of
Music in Bratislava ; winners of competition of creative youth in Kiev ;
winners of the international festival of arts "Vita Longa".
To diplomas
and the premiums which has received a duet of piano, it is necessary to add and
the Big gold medal of Natalia which was received at the period of the training
in the
Last years
as a result of transition of all spheres of economy of Russia to market
attitudes, musicians of a classical genre, including Natalia and Alexander,
were put in conditions in order to solve
problems of the organization and realization of concerts to come into direct
business contacts with Russians and foreign musical agencies.
The
beginning of new millennium was marked by participation a piano of duet during
the evening devoted to a 80-anniversary from birthday of the composer of Arno
Babadjanian within the framework of celebrating of a 1700-anniversary of
declaration of Christianity in Armenia, taking place in the Armenian embassy in
Moscow. The given event was shown
At the end
of 2002 the sound recording firm "Melodiya" has issued compact disc
dated to the 130-anniversary from birthday of Sergey Rachmaninoff where by
musicians were executed him "Suite-Fantasy" and "Suite #2"
for two pianos.
At the end of 2003 (December) was issued the second disk of the piano twins-duet.
This disk appeared due to the co-operation
of musicians with the sound recording, editional and distribution Russian company "Artel "Vostochny veter".
The disk has received the name "On one breath". The recording was made at the beginning of 2003.
In June 2004 year was issued a new album Bagdassarov`s the piano twins-duet.
In the new audio album there is submitted work of the known French composer Kamil Saint-Saens, written
for 2 pianos with an orchestra. It’s the big zoological fantasy "The Carnival of animals".
In September 2005 year in the little Hall of the Moscow Conservatory was the concert which was dated to centenary of the birthday Ilia Klyachko. He was the teacher in the Moscow Conservatory and Central music school at the Moscow Conservatory. He was the continuer of the russian performance school of Goldenveiser and Igumnov. Ilia Klyachko was also the founder of the piano twins-duet Natalia and Alexander Bagdasarov as well as their teacher many years.
In Concert performed also others pupils of Klyachko: M.Voskresensky, V.Selivokhin, S.Solodovnik, A.Parshin, Y.Turkina, T.Rubina and many others.
The bright
talent and rare skill of pianos of Natalia and of Alexander today may not leave
indifferent any one of listeners. May be such magic influence of their art of
performance occurs because unique creativity of the only in the world a piano
of duet of the sister and the brother of twins is integrally connected to their
spiritual unity and one professional breath.
At concerts of Natalia and Alexander with unique expressiveness and depth sound the remarkable the works of Bach and Beethoven, of Mozart and Liszt, of Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich, of Khatchaturian and Chopin and many other
composers of Russia and foreign countries. Especially it is necessary to tell
that in repertoire of a duet takes place such global work as " 9-th
Symphony" of Beethoven in F. Liszt`s transcription for two pianos, not performing
earlier none of duets a piano.
