Inflatable advertising balloon "TIGER"
The modified finite element method used in program MONSTR-2.2
works successfully with unmatched meshes. As a result, it is possible to
deal with cutting patterns as with the details-macroelements having arbitrary
independent meshes stitching them automatically.

The first 3D-shape was used to get plane cutting patterns (~90 details)
and the second one is the shape of inflated 6m TIGER under 1000N/sq.m pressure
predicted by MONSTR-2.2. Despite the second
tiger got too stout, it is still recognizable.
The program
MONSTR-2.2 has effective user-friendly means to work with complex 3-dimensional
mesh.
The tail and ears are
not shown here.
