is applied for balloons, blimps, inflatable figures, air-supported and other sophisticated structures.

3D modeling is utilized to:

• create complex virtual 3D structure in CAD format (ex. product or logo replicas);
• simulate rendering, painting, logo disposition, view from any point;
• edit any 3D shape using Boolean (intersection, subtraction, union) and transforming (lofting, moving, rotating, scaling, beveling, skewing, bending, tapering, etc.) operations with simple solids (sphere, cone, cylinder, torus, etc.) and/or with surfaces approximated by meshes;
• predict structure shape and distortion under loading;
• provide structural, aerodynamic and aeroelastic analysis (ex., simulate stability lost under wind action);
• generate mesh model and patterns;

Applied software:

• AUTODESK products: AutoCAD, 3D-Studio, 3D-Max, reelated engineering applictions;
• MONSTR-2.2 to define equistressed shapes, to eliminate wrinkles and folds, to smooth surfaces using soap film equistressed isotropic model;

You have to submit for 3D-modeling one of the following:

• solid CAD model;
• mesh-based CAD model;
• finite element system in MONSTR-2.2 format convertible to CAD;
• scaned photo or graphic file (sketch, image);
• text description;
• prototype;
• URL;

and fabric bolt width (m) = (fill it now if patterning needed).

Attachments

Send only compressed files, graphic files in GIF / JPEG format are preferable (no compression needed in this case). Check what file will be attached:

solid CAD model (format: DWG, DXF, 3DS, MAX, other)

Work stages.

• The 3D - modeling is definitely an iterative task and several iterations usually needed to satisfy the customer with 3D virtual model; final model is converted into CAD solid and mesh based model and is sent to customer;
• mesh based virtual model is rebuilt to fit the width of fabric bolt and to prepare for patterning.

Price depends on complexity of 3D model and number of patterns. Check appropriate boxes to accept preliminary. Final price will be evaluated by our experts and mailed you to obtain consent.

1-st stage - iterative 3D modeling = $100 - $500
2-rd stage - mesh model preparation for patterning = $100 - $300
